Staff Selection Commission CGL selection will be based on test/interview. Exam will be held in two tiers namely Tier I and II. Applicants who qualify for the Tier I exam must appear for the Tier II examination to be selected for notified vacancies of posts. SSC CGL 2020-21 Tier I exam may be held during May/June 2020.

State Selection Commission CGL 2020 Job

SSC stands for State Selection Commission. SSC is a government authority for conducting central government exams in India. CGL also is known as Combined Graduate Level; SSC CGL 2020 is a national level exam. Every year the SSC conducts the CGL for recruiting various posts in ministries/division/Organizations of the Government of India.

Combined Graduate Level (CGL 2020) Exam gets organized for the appointment of employees in Grade “B” and “C” category position. SSC CGL exam 2020 will be conducted in 4 Tiers i.e. Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III & Tier-IV. Tier-I and Tier-II gets conducted in an online mode and the Tier-III & Tier-IV gets conducted in an offline mode

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should be a citizen of India or a subject/citizen of Bhutan/Nepal.

Applicants who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam can also apply.

For Junior Statistical Officer:

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute

For Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or MBA

For all other Posts:

Bachelor’s Degree.

Age Criteria

  • Age shall not be less than 18 years January 1, 2020.
  • Maximum age should not be more than 32 years
  • For reserved category, age relaxation will be provided

Complete process to fill SSC CGL 2020 Application Form

  • Applicants need to register by entering his/her e-mail ID, phone number and password.
  • Use registration details to log in.
  • Fill all details in SSC CGL 2020 Application Form detailed form with all the correct details.
  • Upload scanned photo and sign as per the size mentioned in the JPEG format.
  • After that step after successfully filling SSC CGL 2020 Job form and uploading of documents, you need to pay application fees.
  • In the end take a print of the filled application form.

Application Fee

  • To complete the registration procedure, you need to pay the application fee.
  • For the General category, you need to pay an amount of INR 100.
  • No application fees for SC/ST/PH and Female all Category candidates.
  • Fee can be paid through offline mode by using Challan/ Net Banking or through online mode by using Visa, Mastercard or Maestro Credit or Debit card.
  • Application fee once paid will not be reimbursed in any case.

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of written test (CBT) and followed by the Descriptive test, CPT and Skill Test.

The final merit of selected applicants will be prepared through their performance in all the 4- tiers taken together.
